The VIBES man. The drums perfectly match the synth and bass and just UGH.
Never fails to calm me down
Favorite track: rhythm and blues: the peacemaker.

The interplay of Van Hunt & Nate Smith is fantastic and it was a real treat seeing them perform this at Rockwood Music Hall. Also the production on this album fills it out. Feels like a Broadway show on funk.
Favorite track: (if love won't) can we forgive ourselves? [feat. Van Hunt].
...I wanted to write something that felt cinematic - something with a sense of urgency. I wanted to create something that was both beautiful and painful - eloquent and earnest. I am grateful to the musicians who contributed their gifts. I hope you enjoy the music. Thanks so much for listening.

Incredible drumming, and the whole band creates some unusual but memorable grooves.
The guitar player also looks like Thomas Dolby's cousin or nephew. imabuddha
